As a native of Overland Park, Dr. Russell is proud to serve this community.
Dr. Russell graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Human Biology in 2007. She then
attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL to
receive her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She completed residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in
New Haven, CT with advanced training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. She served as Chief
Resident in her final year there.
She returned to Kansas to practice in 2016 and opened Prairie View Foot and Ankle in 2023. Dr. Russell
is one of the most qualified podiatrists in the region, with double board certification from the American
Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She is also
board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Russell serves on the Kansas Board of Podiatric Medicine and also as a physician advisor to Overland
Park Surgery Center. She holds privileges at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, St. Luke’s South
Hospital, Menorah Medical Center, and Overland Park Surgery Center.
Dr. Russell enjoys spending her free time going on adventures with her husband and 2 children.
